I was completely satisfied with my experience with Champion Moving & Storage who handle my recent move from New York to South Carolina. Everyone involve from Champion was very professional and pro-active. They are definitely a five star organization and I highly recommend for your move.

These guys do great work together a lot of experience amongst them highly recommend for ANY move big or small!

Champion Moving handled our move from downtown Rochester to Westchester. Christopher Carter, the owner of the company, did the move estimate himself the day we called. We ended up paying ~$100 less than the estimate he gave us so his estimate was right on point! We were making a pit stop at my parents' house in NJ to drop off some items so he worked out the estimates using a couple of different scenarios (interstate vs. intrastate move) to make sure we'd get the best pricing. His crew was great from full service packing, pick-up, and delivery. My husband was still stuck in Rochester for work so I was moving by myself with three pets. The crew was considerate with regards to working around my stressed-out pets (two dogs and a cat). During the final delivery, they reassembled any disassembled furniture items and also helped me arrange heavier items around the new apartment because I wouldn't have anyone around to help me move them after they leave. Unsolicited advice: Be nice to your movers and tip them generously. It's probably not that fun carrying someone else's stuff in ninety degree weather, walking up and down a couple of flights of stairs. I bought the crew lunch every day during the 3-day move and tipped them generously although they weren't expecting either. I was surprised they weren't expecting any tip - they said some customers tip and some don't so they usually don't expect it.

I have used Allied in the past, so I called the local Allied affiliate when I planned to move again. I was unfamiliar with the local affiliate. The local contact was very good to deal with -- she had answers to all my questions. The company sent a rep out to look at what I was shipping, and he gave me a "not-to-exceed" quote. I did not know my actual move date at that point and Champion was helpful in telling me about how seasonality affects charges. When I was ready to move, I called, they locked in a date for me and we were set. The move was excellently done. Even though they had to load the truck in pouring rain, my things were well protected, and they worked amazingly fast. At the other end, the same driver had a local affiliate provide one person to help him unload and the same thing happened - a very good piece of work. Not one thing was lost, broken, nicked or otherwise affected in a negative way. Champion followed up to make sure of that after the fact, and was great. In addition, I was told that my move was substantially cheaper than my not-to-exceed price. The combination of attentive customer service, good pricing, integrity and excellent performance assures that I will recommend Champion highly and will use Allied again.

Great moving experience with Champion (a division of Allied). Very professional when they came out to give the initial estimate and were within 135 pounds of the actual weight (that's an amazing degree of accuracy in my opinion! They estimated 9000 pounds and the actual weight was 9135). We had 3 men that packed packed the truck from our house (we chose to pack on our own) and then drove to our storage unit and unloaded it. While we, the estimator, and the owner of the storage unit all felt the unit was tractor trailer accessible it was not entirely so. Still the crew got the TT as close as they could and then got to work. In the process of trying to get the TT back the grass was torn up some and the guys wouldn't leave the property until they put the grass back as best they could and cleaned up the area.

We had no issues with the delivery just a couple days later.

I would highly recommend Champion to anyone in the area for their moving needs whether they be local or long distance.
